Work eight plus hours a day at your job come home do a few chores and set your butt in front of the boob tube until bedtime. Sound familiar? This sort of lifestyle permeates our society.
Look, you can do what you want with your life but please don’t cry to me or your fellow citizen when some bad disease or ailment strikes your body. Your sedimentary lifestyle will eventually result in your demise.
Get off your easy chair and do something! You do not have to run marathons or join a health club but you do need to get the body moving. How about starting with TV commercials, whenever a commercial comes on do some calisthenics. Set up a schedule of say ten different exercises and then rotate between them. This way you can have your cake and eat it too. TV and exercise become harmonize.
Another easy way to get some exercise is to use stairs instead of the elevator or escalator. Park your car further away at your destination rather then parking as close as possible to the door.
When doing household chores don’t always look for the easiest way to get the job done instead opt to use the most physical way, this will allow your body to burn calories, stretch muscles, and gain strength.
I’m certain you can come up with many more easy to implement exercises and ways to get your body moving. All it takes is some motivation and some personal butt kicking.
